Building a size chart template, step by step

Every block you can add to a template, what each one does, and the one step that actually saves your work.

A template is your chart's structure — the columns, rows, and anything else around the table.

Build a template

  1. Go to TemplatesCreate template.
  2. Give it a name.
  3. Choose a type: Product-wise if you'll apply it by hand, or Rule-based if you want it to apply itself automatically.
  4. Add your measurement columns. Check Include age column if the chart should show ages too.
  5. If you chose Rule-based, set your rule conditions and fill in the size values right here.
  6. Click Continue to sections to move forward — this doesn't save anything yet.
  7. Add any extra content with + Add block, then drag to reorder.
  8. Click Save template — this is the only step that actually saves your work. Everything before it is safe to click back and forth through.

What you can add to a template

Each block has its own settings — click it in your block list to edit. Every field updates the live preview instantly.

BlockWhat it's for
Size chart tableYour main table. Only one per template.
Title / headingA title and optional subtitle.
Text & notesFree text, with heading style, size, and color options.
ImageA single image, with width, aspect ratio, and link options.
Image rowTwo images side by side.
DividerA line, a blank spacer, or a dotted line between sections.
VideoYouTube, Vimeo, or an uploaded file.
Q&A / FAQsAn expandable accordion of questions and answers.
Size conversionA separate conversion table (e.g. US/UK/EU), independent of your main chart.
TabsMultiple tabs, each holding text, images, conversion tables, or Q&A.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Colors, borders, fonts, and row stripes come from Design Studio — not from individual blocks.
  • No block can be hidden on mobile vs. desktop — everything you add shows everywhere. The preview's device toggle just resizes the frame to check how it looks.
  • In the preview, only the first tab shows — the shopper's own device is what switches tabs live on your storefront.

Common questions

An image I uploaded is stuck on "Processing" — what do I do?

Give it a few seconds. If it's still stuck after a minute, try uploading again — a genuine failure shows a clear error instead of hanging.

Can I paste values in from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Both the template builder's table and the per-product editor accept a direct copy-paste from Excel or Google Sheets.
